About Ariadne Crane

At Balance, Harmony and Restoration Counseling, our team of licensed therapists has extensive experience working with couples and adult individuals. Ariadne is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

Among Ariadne’s primary goals in her specialty of attachment issues and relationship conflict is to work cooperatively with couples and mutually discover the most appropriate solutions. As a therapist, she also strives to increase healthy communication skills, resolve childhood conflicts and foster an understanding of incompatible behavior patterns. She feels that self-awareness and the acknowledgement of past injuries can result in healthy relationships and provide discernment, fulfillment and peace in one’s life journey.

Ariadne enjoys working with couples, as well as individual adults, especially those dealing with trauma and those in need of coping strategies. She is certified in Prepare/Enrich to provide premarital education and counseling, as well as marriage enhancement. She also is skilled at coaching how to decrease emotional reactivity, depression, and anxiety. She has a passion for trauma resolution, and feels deeply about the importance of developing and fostering personal growth and self-worth. Ariadne has received training in EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy. EMDR is an integrative psychotherapy approach that has been extensively researched and proven effective for the treatment of trauma. Ariadne is also a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist. She has received extensive theological training and integrating spirituality to psychotherapy is an option available for those who desire to make those connections within their sessions.

Ariadne comes from a multi-cultural background and speaks fluent English, Spanish and German. Her abilities and understandings make her especially suited for cross-cultural, personal growth, self-esteem and spiritual issues.
